Do you accept everyone who applies?

No. We get many new applications every week and do not take on every applicant we receive an application from. Our ethos is to only have clients on our books that we feel we can get work. We will contact you within 14 days of receipt of your enquiry if we wish to consider your application for representation further.

What happens after I apply?

We will contact you within 14 days if we wish to consider your application further. If we wish to speak to you we will arrange an initial phone call/online meeting and take things from there.

Are there any initial fees?

There is no joining fee or annual fees for being part of Take One Agency. 

Applicants should already be on Spotlight. For suitable applicants we can help with this process.

You will be required to have professional headshots. If you already have these then we can use them. If you do not have any then you will be required to get some. You are free to get these done wherever you please or you can use one of our recommended photographers.

Are you a sole representation agency?

Yes. Occasional exceptions are made on an individual basis for commercial dance agents and specialist voice over agents. These exceptions are at the discretion of Take One and should be discussed before signing our contract.

What if I get myself work?

All performance related work during your contract with Take One Agency is commissionable. We encourage you to look for work too as there are so many avenues for performance work, especially with social media, that Take One Agency aren't able to monitor all sites. We ask that all clients cc us on all correspondence and if an offer of work is forthcoming we will then deal professionally with the client on your behalf.

Am I guaranteed work?

No. We cannot guarantee work for you. No talent agency can. All we can say is that we will do all we can to get castings for you. This is your foot in the door and the potential start of your dream…

What type of work can you get me?

We submit for roles regularly in theatre, feature films, television, commercials, corporate and more.

We have strong connections with many leading casting companies providing Musical Theatre performers for overseas resorts, cruises, UK resorts and more. As well as good links with many of the top TV and Film casting directors in the UK and US.

Castings

Casting can be at very short notice sometimes less that 24 hours notice (particularly for commercials) and are often in Central London. Many first round castings are now being done remotely or by self tape. Please be familiar with sending videos online with sites such as WeTransfer.

You will be responsible for all travel costs to get to the casting.
